This past weekend was the 2016 Emmys Award Show that was hosted at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Of course we have to talk about some of our favorite trends spotted on the red carpet. Florals seem to be taking over the red carpet, despite it being fall. During the Emmys, it seems that florals seem to be proven seasonless.

Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams dons a black Markus Lupfer gown completed with embroidered flowers. Rather than simply floral prints designers are opting for something more modern and 3D such as embroidery or floral appliques.

The Modern Family star Sarah Hyland is seen wearing Monique Lhuillier. Hyland went with something very different look. Instead of wearing a full on gown like many celebrities, she went for a fish tail hem completed with trousers.

Kristen Bell went with a Zuhair Murad dress that was completed with a floral print and plunging neckline.
